The Derbyshire Dales Bus & Train Festival
The 2027 event will be on: Fathers Day, 20th of June
The Derbyshire Dales Bus & Train Festival has been held annually on Father’s Day since 18th June 2023, quickly becoming a highlight for both the general public and transport enthusiasts.
Each year, the event attracts around 60 buses and coaches, with over half operating in service on a network of free heritage bus routes throughout the day.
The festival is complemented by an intensive timetable of train services operated by Peak Rail, with both steam and diesel traction featured for 2027.

Rowsley South Station – Bakewell (via the Chatsworth Estate and Pilsley) – Rowsley South Station (return via the Bakewell Flyer route)
The Chatsworth Short Tour
Rowsley South Station – Chatsworth House – Rowsley South Station
The Darley Dale Connection
Rowsley South Station – Darley Dale Station – Rowsley South Station
